Axl's release is pushed back yet again

The release date for the new Guns N Roses album 'Chinese Democracy' has been pushed back yet again.

Despite announcing March 6 as the release date, the band have are now saying the album is not running on schedule and they have no official date set for its release.

A post on the band’s official site said: “After some delays and scheduling difficulties, things appear to be moving along."

The message said the album is recorded and is currently in the mixing stages.

The LP will be the first release from the band since 1993’s covers album ’The Spaghetti Incident?’, although the only original member remaining is frontman Axl Rose.

The band are set to play shows in South Africa in April and May.
