Injury forces Axl's men off the road

Guns N Roses have cancelled the opening dates of their Japanese tour following an injury.

Bassist Tommy Stinson fell down some stairs, causing a problem with one of his hands.

Posting on Gunsnroses.com, Stinson wrote: “I feel so bad right now. I accidentally fell down a flight of stairs. I put my hand down to break my fall and heard a loud ‘pop’. The next morning my hand looked like a balloon.

“We had our last rehearsal a few days ago and shipped the gear to Japan and then this happened. I feel horrible.”

It is not known yet when the dates will be rescheduled.
