It has been rumoured that four-fifths of the original Guns N' Roses line-up may reunite next week at an anniversary to mark the 20th anniversary of the release of the band’s debut album 'Appetite For Destruction'.
Drummer Steven Adler said that the event would take place on Saturday (July 28) at the Key Club in Los Angeles.
He said: “I’ll be down there with my band and Slash, Izzy (Stradlin, guitarist) and Duff (McKagan, bass) will be there too. It’s gonna be great.”
Adler said that he doubted that singer Axl Rose would turn up, but he expected a full reunion to happen eventually.
He explained: “Axl and I spoke to each other in Las Vegas recently, and I know there’s a chance. It’s just too big. Whatever the Stones make when they play, we’d triple it. It’d be ridiculous not to do it. He can’t be that goofy.”
Slash and McKagan’s band Velvet Revolver are set to tour the states with Alice In Chains next month, reports The Rock Radio.
