Ex-Guns N' Roses drummer arrested for drug possession

Guns N' Roses' former drummer Steven Adler was arrested in Los Angeles early this morning (July 18) for suspected drug possession.

Adler, 43, was taken into custody by officers after they were called to a Hollywood home where a man was reportedly causing a disturbance and would not leave.

Adler was discovered there and booked for investigation of possessing narcotics, being under the influence and for an outstanding warrant, police spokesman Richard French told the Associated Press.

The drummer, who has a long history of drug use, was jailed on $45,000 bail.
