Guns N' Roses leaker to plead guilty

Kevin Cogill changes his plea to strike a deal

The man accused of leaking several Guns N' Roses tracks online from their new album 'Chinese Democracy' has agreed to plead guilty, a federal prosecutor announced today (November 11).

Kevin Cogill, 27, will enter his guilty plea to one federal count of copyright infringement at a hearing on December 8, Craig Missakian, assistant US attorney, told the Associated Press.

Cogill is accused of violating federal copyright laws by uploading nine of the veteran rockers' tracks on his website this summer. He was arrested at his home in Los Angeles in August, and was released on bail.

He originally entered a not-guilty plea in Los Angeles Federal Court last month, but has reportedly agreed to change his plea to guilty.

Details of the plea deal that Cogill reached with federal prosecutors have not been revealed. It is still not known how he obtained the copies of the Guns N' Roses tracks.

They should take themselves to court for making such a laughably pathetic, piss poor record.
