Former Guns N' Roses drummer ordered into rehab
It's the only way Steven Adler will avoid prison
Guns N' Roses former drummer Steven Adler has been ordered to return to rehab to treat his drug addiction.
A Los Angeles court commissioner said today (December 19) that Adler, 43, could avoid prison by participating in a state-sanctioned drug rehabilitation programme, reports the Associated Press.
Adler was arrested in Los Angeles in July and charged with felony drug possession and being under the influence of drugs. He has since appeared on the VH1 television programme 'Celebrity Rehab With Dr Drew'.
The drummer was fired from Guns N' Roses in 1990 because of his drug problems.
