Guns N' Roses announce first US tour in five years

Guns N' Roses have announced their first US tour in five years.

The Axl Rose fronted group have lined up more than 30 dates in America starting at Orlando's Amway Centre Arena on October 28, reports Billboard. The band are also due to appear at the Rock In Rio Festival in Rio de Janeiro on October 2.

The current line-up which includes keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman, guitarists DJ Ashba, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal and Richard Fortus, longtime bassist Tommy Stinson, and Frank Ferrer on drums toured South America, Canada and Europe last year.

They also headlined the 2010 Reading And Leeds Festivals where Rose got into a public spat with oraniser Melvin Benn.

Ashba recently revealed that Rose has over three albums' worth of new songs recorded and ready for release. Guns N' Roses' last release was their 'Chinese Democracy' in 2008 – the band's first album of original material since 1991.
