Current Guns N' Roses guitarist DJ Ashba has spoken about the band's Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction next month and has said he hopes that all members past and present can "put all the differences aside for one night and just give the fans what they want".

Last month (February 15), it was reported that all the members who had contributed to the band's seminal 1987 debut album 'Appetite For Destruction' would be attending the ceremony, which takes place in Cleveland, Ohio on April 14, but both Slash and Duff MacKagan have now confirmed that they will all be simply attending and not performing.

Ashba [pictured right], who is also a member of Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx's side project Sixx:AM, spoke about the Hall Of Fame induction and implied that he would like to see all the members of the band perform together at the show.

Speaking during a Livestream chat earlier this week: "The Hall Of Fame? That's a big issue right now. The one thing I don't understand about the Hall Of Fame, is nobody's talking about it. I don't get it. I think in my opinion, I think it's a huge honour."

He continued: "I think it would be awesome to see everybody get up on stage and put all the differences aside for one night and just give the fans what they want. To me that makes the most sense – but I have no idea what's going to go down because there has been zero talk about it so far. Whatever happens that night is going to be exciting. I'm anxious to see what happens."

The current line-up of Guns N' Roses, of which Ashba is a member, are set to tour the UK later this year. The band, who are currently working on new material for the follow-up to 'Chinese Democracy', will play eight shows across the UK as part of a full European tour this May. Thin Lizzy will provide support at all of the shows.

They will play:

Nottingham Capital FM Arena (May 19)
Liverpool Echo Arena (20)
Newcastle Metro Radio Arena (23)
Glasgow SECC (25)
Birmingham LG Arena (26)
Manchester Evening News Arena (29)
London O2 Arena (31, June 1)
