Guns N' Roses have announced that they will be playing a 12-date residency at the Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in October.
The rockers will play a run of shows titled the 'Appetite For Democracy' residency and have promised to deliver a lengthy and career-spanning setlist at each of the shows. The shows begin on October 31 and then take place on November 2, 3, 7, 9, 10, 14, 17, 18, 21, 23 and 24.
The band have just completed a lengthy European tour, which included a troubled UK arena trek which they ended on a sour note after being pelted with money and pint glasses.
Before they undertook the tour, the band said that recording the follow-up to 'Chinese Democracy' was their ''priority''.
The band released their sixth album a full 15 years after their fifth album and their guitarist DJ Ashba has said that he and frontman Axl Rose have been busy working on material for their seventh.
Speaking about the band's plans, the guitarist said: ''I can say making a new album absolutely is our main priority. And I cannot wait to get working on it. Axl has tonnes and tonnes of stuff recorded as it is. I mean, he sits there in his hotel room and he'll play me hours of stuff. And I've written over ten songs, I think 12 songs now, for him that he really likes.''
Guns N' Roses were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame earlier this year, despite frontman Axl Rose opting to boycott the ceremony.
