Slash's wife: 'Axl Rose has had too many chili burgers'

Perla Hudson, the wife of former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash, has poked fun at Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose following his rare TV interview this week.

“I was waiting for something enlightening and all I got was promotion for a show and his evident affinity for a chili burger,” she says in an interview with Us Weekly following Rose's appearance on US TV show Jimmy Kimmel Live! on October 25.

She added: "Where is the love Axl? And I stayed up for this? Sex, drugs and chilli dogs. Long live Axl Rose."

During the interview, Rose spoke about the early days of Guns N' Roses in Hollywood. "We’re just a few minutes from your old rehearsal space, do you ever think about it when driving by?" Kimmel asked. "Not in a while," Rose replied. When asked if he remembered it at all, he replied bluntly, "Unfortunately."

Rose introduced the latest line-up of Guns N' Roses too: original keyboardist Dizzy Reed, guitarists Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, DJ Ashba and Richard Fortus, bassist Tommy Stinson, drummer Frank Ferrer and keyboardist Chris Pitman. Hudson commented: "He's had a Slash, a Buckethead and a Bumblefoot and evidently way too many Tommy's chili burgers!"
