Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose is reportedly planning to purchase a tiger.

The singer was spotted hanging out with Hollywood stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Jonah Hill and Michael K Williams at the Catch Roof venue in New York when he revealed his latest brainwave. A source at the New York Post said: "They were seated at a VIP table surrounded by tons of security. They looked like a modern-day Rat Pack. [Axl was with] a harem of ladies and was telling the group about his plans to buy a tiger."

The singer recently found himself in hot water after a fan declared that he was suing Rose for $5,000 for allegedly knocking his teeth out with a microphone at a gig in Perth, Australia. Describing the incident, Darren Wright said: "With the bright lights and explosions, I couldn't see anything. The next thing I knew, I was whacked in the mouth. I thought I had been punched. I was quite stunned and it took a few seconds to realise what was going on. I could feel bits of teeth in my mouth. Then someone is climbing through my legs to grab the microphone.

He added: "I don't think he intended to do it, but it came at me at a fairly flat and hard trajectory. Those cordless microphones are not light. I'm surprised it didn't do more damage. At the very least, I want someone to pay to get my teeth fixed."
