Duff McKagan has hinted that he may be joining Guns N' Roses on stage in south America later this month.

The bass player officially left the band in 1997 but posted a picture of himself holding a setlist filled with a number of Guns N' Roses songs yesterday (March 31). The image was accompanied by McKagan writing "Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia, Brazil! See y'all in the next few weeks, Si? GNR."

Guns N' Roses are currently on tour in south America and will play a series of gigs in Brazil this week before arriving in Argentina on April 6 for a gig at the Estadio Ferro Carril Oeste in Buenos Aires.

Current Guns N' Roses bassist Tommy Stinson will be unavailable during the tour as his band The Replacements play reunion shows at the upcoming Coachella festival in California. McKagan previously played with Guns N' Roses at London's O2 Arena in 2010 while his band Loaded have opened shows for Axl Rose in 2011, with McKagan joining the band onstage later in the evening.

Later this year Axl Rose and his band mates will return to Las Vegas for their 'No Trickery! An Evening of Destruction' residency. The jaunt will span nine nights, starting on May 21 and ending on June 7. All of the shows will take place at Hard Rock Hotel.
