Hadouken! debuted songs from their forthcoming album 'Music For An Accelerated Culture' at an all-ages gig last night (April 8).

During the set, the Leeds group introduced the London Barfly's packed crowd to the likes of 'Crank It Up' and 'Mr Misfortune' from their debut album, due out on May 5.

Frontman James Smith spent the gig necking cider, shouting to the audience "who wants one of these? Who's old enough? Not that it was stopping some of you outside. Drinking on a Monday, eh?" - forgetting that the gig was on a Tuesday night.

"Let's make the ceiling collapse. Everyone jump," he later ordered, before the band launched into new single 'Declaration Of War' as the first of many aborted crowd-surfing attempts took place.

'Bounce' was introduced as another excuse to "tear the ceiling down - without getting hurt of course".

The band then ended their set with 'That Boy That Girl', dedicated to their new soundman.

Hadouken! played:

'Get Smashed Gate Crash'
'Liquid Lives'
'Declaration Of War'
'Mr Misfortune'
'Bounce'
'Love Sweat And Beer'
'Tuning In'
'Crank It Up'
'Dance Lesson'
'That Boy That Girl'
