Hadouken! have remixed Fightstar after begging to tinker with one of their songs.

The Leeds band came face to face with former Busted man-turned Fightstar singer Charlie Simpson at an awards ceremony last year, where the plan was hatched.

"We met them at the BT Digital Awards, and they asked us if they could remix one of our songs," Simpson told NME.COM. "We thought 'Mercury Summer' would be a great song for them to do, and they are really cool guys. It's a great opportunity to be able to work with like-minded musicians."

The single is been released on Monday (April 6), while an album, 'Be Human', follows on April 20.
