Haim have unveiled a track co-written with US musician Twin Shadow.

Click below to listen to the song, which is called 'Edge' and features on the iTunes deluxe edition of Haim's debut album, 'Days Are Gone', which was released earlier this week.

It was recently revealed that Haim were just 28 copies behind Justin Timberlake in the race for the Number One slot on the UK Official Album Charts. Earlier this week, the LA sisters' debut LP was 700 copies behind the pop star's 'The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2', but is now closing the sales gap. The winner of this week's chart battle will be revealed on BBC Radio 1 this Sunday (October 6).

As of Wednesday's midweek chart update (October 2), Arctic Monkeys remain in the Top Five with 'AM' at Number Five. Kings Of Leon, who were last week's Number One, fall to Number Three with their album 'Mechanical Bull' while US metal band Alter Bridge are new at Number Four with their latest album 'Fortress.' Other new entries are due from Dizzee Rascal (9), Sub Focus (10), Status Quo (18), Moby (21), Metallica (25), Kids In Glass Houses (27), The Answer (29), All Time Low (37), Johnny Flynn (38) and Turin Brakes (39).

New entries in the Official Single Chart are set to come from The Vamps at Number One with their debut single 'Can We Dance', which was on October 4 just 6,000 copies ahead of OneRepublic's track 'Counting Stars'. Other new entries include Chase & Status with their track 'Count On Me' as well as tracks from Nelly, Lucy Spraggan, Two Door Cinema Club, Fuse ODG and Maxsta.
