Haim have debuted in at Number One in the Official UK Albums Chart with 'Days Are Gone'.

In the midweek chart update, the LA sisters were trailing Justin Timberlake's 'The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2' (2) by just 700 copies. However, they have finished the week more than 2,100 copies ahead of the 'Take Back The Night' singer, denying him a fourth consecutive UK Number One, reports the Official Charts Company.

This week's Official UK Albums Chart Top 5 is completed by Kings Of Leon's 'Mechanical Bull' at Number Three, 'AM' by Arctic Monkeys at Number Four and Drake's 'Nothing Was The Same' is down three places at Number Five.

Elsewhere, Dizzee Rascal bags his fourth Number 10 album in a row with 'The Fifth' (10), while Alter Bridge score their highest charting UK album to date with 'Fortress', which is new in today at Number Six. Metallica's 'Through The Never OST' is new in at Number 36.

In the Official UK Singles Chart, OneRepublic have secured their first ever UK Number One with 'Counting Stars', despite competition from The Vamps, whose track 'Can We Dance' finished the week at Number Two. Jason DeRulo's 'Talk Dirty' is down two places at Number Three, Katy Perry's 'Roar' is also down two at Number Four and Chase & Status' 'Count On Me' is new in at Number Five.
