Hanson guitarist hospitalised

Isaac Hanson suffers blood clot in his lungs

Hanson guitarist Isaac Hanson was hospitalised in Texas yesterday (October 3) after complaining of severe chest pains following a performance in Dallas the previous night.

The 26-year-old, the eldest member of the Hanson brothers, was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism, which occurs when a blood clot enters the lungs.

He is currently being evaluated by doctors at Baylor University Hospital in Dallas.

The band issued a statement saying they will make an announcement about the status of their US tour once doctors have completed their evaluations.
