Hanson brother recuperates after surgery

Hanson tour gets back on track

Hanson guitarist Isaac Hanson is recovering nicely following his surgery yesterday (October 4) to treat a severe pulmonary embolism.

The eldest Hanson brother, 26, was hospitalised at Baylor University Hospital in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday (October 3) after complaining of severe chest pains following a performance in the city the previous night.

Hanson is due to be released from the hospital today (October 5) pending doctor's approval. The band plan to resume their US tour in support of their new album 'Walk Tour', on October 8 in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The band are in the process of rescheduling shows in Tulsa, St Louis and Kansas City that were cancelled while Hanson was hospitalised.
