MONDAYS LIMBER UP FOR OASIS TOUR

[a]Shaun Ryder[/a], Bez and the boys decide practice makes perfect...

Happy Mondays are to play a handful of 'secret', low-key gigs to warm up for their July stadium tour with Oasis.

Although no dates have been officially confirmed, an inside source close to the band told nme.com that they were looking to play gigs before the UK leg of the Oasis tour commences in Dublin on July 8.

The Mondays are lining up gigs at London Shepherd's Bush Empire on July 20, the night before they play Wembley Stadium, and the Leeds Town and Country Club prior to that.

The band then support Oasis at Dublin Landsdowne Road (July 8), Bolton Reebok Stadium (15 & 16), Wembley Stadium (21 & 22) and Edinburgh Murryfield Stadium (29). Support at the Bolton shows also comes from ex-Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr's new band, The Healers.
