Avid Merrion introduces the singer at London gig...

'BO' SELECTA!' star AVID MERRION took to the stage last night (August 4) to introduce Har Mar Superstar at a special LONDON gig.

Dressed in large white underpants and his trademark neck-brace Merrion announced the arrival of the portly Casanova at capital's Heaven club.

The comedian praised the singer, saying he made it cool to be "short, slightly tubby and have shit hair... like mine".

Har Mar Superstar then treated fans to tracks from his new forthcoming album, 'The Handler'.

Starting the set with 'Transit', the singer then ran through songs with a live band including 'Body Request', 'Sugar Pie', 'As', and forthcoming single 'D.U.I.' - due for release on August 16.

Har Mar Superstar also played guitar for the ballad 'O' before finishing up with the 'You Can Feel Me' crowd favourite 'Power Lunch'.

Surprisingly, Har Mar Superstar did not strip down to his underpants for the show, instead opting for trousers and a sleeveless shirt.

'The Handler' is released on September 6.
