Hard-Fi invite hero to support them
The band will be joined by a legend at Brixton
Hard-Fi have decided to mark their five night run at the London Brixton Academy by inviting one of their heroes to support them.
The band will be joined by Billy Bragg during their May 14 to 18 residency, after frontman Richard Archer invited the singer to play.
“I saw Billy Bragg play Reading and it has to be one of my all-time favourite shows,” Archer recently told NME.COM. “He held the crowd captivated: just him and an acoustic guitar. ‘Tank Park Salute’ leaves me in bits.”
Bragg meanwhile has recently reissued his early recordings on a seven-disc box set, ‘Billy Bragg Volume 1’.
