Krautrock legends to play charity festival
The veterans make a rare UK appearance
Krautrock legends Michael Rother and Dieter Mobius are to make a rare UK appearance.
Rother, who was a member of the legendary group Neu! and in an early incarnation of Kraftwerk, and Mobius, from the group Cluster, perform together at Oxford’s Carling Academy as part of this year’s Audioscope festival.
The event, to be held on November 10, is an all-day gig to raise money for the charity Shelter.
Rother and Mobius are also set to play a gig at The Croft in Bristol on November 12.
Other acts performing at the festival include The Sea And Cake and Clark.
Rother and Mobius were also formerly members of Harmonia, who recently released their lost live album ‘Harmonia 1974’.
