‘Harry Potter’ finishes filming

The epic franchise cuts for the last time

The last scenes of the final Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, have been shot.

Warwick Davis, who plays Professor Flitwick and the goblin Griphook, wrote on his Twitter feed.

“The end of an era – today is officially the last day of principal photography on Harry Potter – ever. I feel honoured to be here as the director shouts cut for the very last time. Farewell Harry & Hogwarts, it’s been magic! x …and goodbye Griphook!”

The Harry Potter films, which began with 2001’s Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone, are the highest grossing film series of all time, making an average of £600 million per film.
