The legendary space rockers host a "mini-festival" in London...

CHRISTMAS SPACE CAKES!

HAWKWIND have announced details of a one-off Christmas and New Year party at the LONDON ASTORIA on December 29.

The show will take the form of a "mini-festival" and will commence at 4pm. In addition to music, the event will feature exhibitions, stalls, record signings, liquid lights, festive food and drinks.

Support throughout the day will come from Tim Blake, Spiral Realms and Spacehead, with "surprise guests" being promised throughout the evening.

At the last Hawkwind show, at the London Brixton Academy, the band were joined by original member Lemmy.

The Hawkwind line-up for the Astoria show is confirmed as featuring Dave Brock, Richard Chadwick, Simon House, Alan Davey, Ron Tree, Jerry Richards, Harvey Bainbridge and Keith Kniveton.

Tickets for the show are on sale now, priced £15.
