Henry Rollins announces UK spoken word tour – ticket details

Henry Rollins has announced an eight-date spoken word tour for January.

The former Black Flag frontman, who is also booked to appear at this summer’s Reading And Leeds Festivals, will take in eight theatres across the UK in the early part of 2012. The dates kick off at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall on January 12 and run until January 21, when Rollins will perform at Bexhill’s De La Warr Pavillion.

Rollins has recently confirmed that he will front a new nature show for the National Geographic Wild channel. The show, which is titled Animal Underworld, is set to see the singer meeting people "who consume things like frog smoothies and tarantulas", according to recent reports.
