Hercules And Love Affair, Egyptian Hip Hop and ex-drug smuggler raconteur Howard Marks are among the latest line-up additions for this year's Standon Calling festival.

Hypnotic Brass Ensemble and John Grant are also among the new additions.

The event takes place in Hertfordshire on August 12-14 and also features Spiritualized, Battles and Errors on the line-up.

Standon Calling has continued to operate despite the jailing of its former chief Alexander Trenchard for fraud in February. He was sentenced to 30 months in prison for embezzling more than £355,000 from his former employer Tesco to fund the festival.

See Standon-calling.com for more details about the event.
