Courtney Love has pulled Hole out of Australia's Soundwave Festival after she found out that her band would be below Limp Bizkit on the bill.
The band were due to take in the tour in February and March 2012 alongside System Of A Down, Slipknot, You Me At Six, Machine Head and A Day To Remember, but pulled out after finding out where they were located on the bill.
Love tweeted her frustration about the booking, messaging the festival's promoter AJ Maddah with the words: "What bloody flight of crazed fancy made you think we'd open for Limp Bizkit dude? No offence, that's nuts."
Maddah was not happy about Hole's pull out and took to Twitter himself to criticize the band. He wrote: "Like we were going to ask her [Courtney Love] permission every time we book a band. No point taking her back, only for her to cancel later, or turn up and act like a rotten twat to other artists and fans. I am really mad about this. I was given so many assurances that this would not happen when I took the booking."
Courtney Love has recently announced that she is writing a new 'tell-all' memoir. Love will write the as-yet untitled book for William Morrow, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, with an expected publication date of later this year.
