Arctic Monkeys man checks out Holy Fuck

Leeds Festival gets on its dancing shoes for Canadian electro-rockers

Holy Fuck drew a large crowd, including Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders, to the Dance Stage at Leeds Festival today (August 22).

Helders, currently carving a niche outside the band as a DJ, watched the instrumental Canadian electro-rockers from the side of the stage with the producer of his band's 2007 LP 'Favourite Worst Nightmare', Simian Mobile Disco's James Ford.

The Toronto outfit got the Dance Stage moving with a blistering set, mixing entirely instrumental tracks from both of their albums 'Holy Fuck' and 'LP'.

The band played a typically experimental set, switching between guitars and keyboards and stretching songs well beyond five minutes.

After inspiring a huge clap-along, the band exited to loud "Bizzle" chants, in anticipation of the appearance of Lethal Bizzle next on the stage.
