'HEAVIER' HOPE!
Hope Of The States have already started work on their new album - and its shaping up to be "heavier" than their debut 'THE LOST RIOTS', NME.COM can exclusively reveal.

Frontman Sam Herlihy told NME.COM the band were going into studio tomorrow (July 2) to record B-Sides for theirnew single and "we’re also demoing five or six songs for the next record. They might be complete trash but they’re sounding quite good at the moment," he
added.

"Some of them are sounding a lot heavier than the older stuff," said Herlihy. "I’m going to start playing more electric guitar because I miss playing electric guitar so they might move in
that direction. But they’re all about Russia and
alcoholics in London."

As previously revealed, Hope Of The States release new single ‘Nehemiah’ on August 16. And following their triumphant showing at Glastonbury last weekend, they play several other Irish and UK festivals, including Dublin Oxegen (July 10), T In the Park (11), V Festival (August 21, 22).
