FRESH HOPE!

Fans will get to hear new stuff on the band's trip round the UK and Ireland...

FRESH HOPE!
Hope Of The States opened their
biggest ever tour of the UK and Ireland last night in
BELFAST’s MANDELA HALL (October 17).

The six-piece had only seven hours to recover after
a month-long US tour before they headed back on the
road. However, they showed no signs of fatigue and
instead seemed to have added steel and menace that
wasn’t always present before the American tour.

"It’s good to be back on this side of the
Atlantic," frontman Sam Herlihy told the 1,000 strong crowd.

The band worked through a 13-song set drawn mostly
from debut album ‘The Lost Riots’.
They also played one new untitled song.

After the show Herlihy told NME.COM he already had a number of songs ready for the second album, but there were no plans to record it at present.

Hope Of The States move to Dublin tonight.
