Hot Chip have hinted that a Snoop Dogg cover they recently performed live could get a single release.
The group covered the rapper’s new single 'Sensual Seduction' for radio station Xfm, and Hot Chip founder Joe Goddard revealed it may feature as a future B-side on one of their records.
Goddard told the station he is working on another hip-hop project too.
He revealed: “I’m making a hip-hop record with a young rapper called Dells who’s really talented, and we’re putting an album together which is sounding really great.”
The first single from the collaboration, 'Lazy', will come out on Moshi Moshi in March.
Other Hot Chip members are putting their fingers in new musical pies as well – Alexis Taylor is working with Green Gartside from 80’s band Scritti Politti.
Hot Chip's new album 'Made In The Dark' is released on February 5.
