Hot Chip play to huge crowd at V Festival
Putney band get the Chelmsford punters dancing
Hot Chip played to a massive crowd in the JJB Arena at the Chelmsford leg of the V Festival tonight (August 17).
The band, watched by 'Life On Mars' actor John Simm, played the set that has been driving festival-goers wild all summer.
The loudest cheers from the packed crowd were reserved for acclaimed single 'Over And Over', and recent UK Top Ten hit 'Ready For The Floor'.
The band said little, apart from when they repeatedly acknowledged the enthusiastic response from the Essex crowd.
Hot Chip played:
'Shake A Fist'
'And I Was A Boy From School'
'Out At The Pictures'
'Hold On'
'Over And Over'
'One Pure Thought'
'Ready For The Floor'
'Nothing Compares 2 U/In The Privacy Of Our Love'
