Hot Chip announce live return and ticket details

Band to return with fourth album next year

Hot Chip have announced details of their live return.

The band, whose LP was 2008's 'Made In The Dark', will kick off a 12-date UK tour on February 12 at the Glasgow O2 Adademy, later wrapping it up with two gigs at the London O2 Academy Brixton (26, 27).

Hot Chip told NME.COM: "As events relentlessly continue to unfold inside the confines of Camp Hot Chip, we can reveal some diverting facts and interesting details of our plans for next year. There will be a new album, set for release in early parts of next year, to warm the cockles of your soul right in the middle of the bleak mid-winter.

"We're just completing the finishing touches right now, and we're also gearing up for a return, possibly triumphant, to the live arena, as a UK tour is also in the offing for February. If any of that information floats your boat, then you can sign up to pre-order the album, get tickets for the tour and receive a new track at Hotchip.co.uk."
