Howler, one of the most hotly-tipped bands for 2012, release their new single 'Back Of Your Neck' next month – click above to watch an exclusive behind the scenes clip of the band making the video for the track.

The track was released on Monday (December 12), while their debut album 'America Give Up' is due to follow on January 16.

Speaking to NME last month, singer Jordan Gatesmith promised that the album would see the band bring back "dirty rock'n'roll", adding that tracks such as 'America' are influenced by the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Jonathan Richman.

He commented:

There's not really been a great rock record, or even a punk record, in ages. I keep hearing a lot of witch house stuff, chillwave, shoegazey keyboards with Casio drums. But not rock, so we wanted to make it dirty rock'n'roll.

Howler will return to the UK for a tour early next year, kicking off at Bristol Louisiana on January 23 before moving on to dates in Brighton, Southampton, London, Cardiff, Liverpool, Manchester, Nottingham, Newcastle, Leeds, Glasgow and Birmingham.
