Ian Brown is the latest name to sign up for a ShockWaves NME Awards 2006 Show – and he’s promised it’ll be one of the best yet.
After his busiest year ever in 2005 that saw the release of a 'best of' compilation ‘The Greatest’ and his biggest ever tour which included a massive homecoming show at Manchester MEN Arena, Brown will play one of his first UK dates of the year at London Koko on February 15.
Support will come from DJs Scratch Perverts.
“Last year was my biggest since 1989,” Brown told NME.COM during a break from touring. “I hope 2006 is going to be even bigger. Playing this show will set me up for the year. I’ll have been in Australia in January so I’m hoping to bring some of their summer vibe back to the UK.”
Tickets for his NME show are on sale now.
For ticket availability, go to NME Tickets or call them on 0870 1 663 663.
