Ian Brown covers Michael Jackson yet again on his new single 'GOLDEN GAZE' which is released on May 8 thorough Polydor.

Brown covers 'Thriller' on the single, which is the third release from his second solo album 'Golden Greats'. Throughout Brown's mini-tour of Ireland last May he played 'Thriller' as part of a medley with his own 'What Happened To Ya?' from the album 'Unfinished Monkey Business'.

This is the second time Ian Brown has covered Jackson on a B-side. His last single, 'Dolphins Were Monkeys', which went in to the UK charts at number 5 last February featured a cover of the Jackson hit 'Billie Jean'.

As exclusively predicted on nme.com last Tuesday (March 14), Brown has now confirmed a show at the Northampton Roadmenders on April 25. The date is a warm-up to his 'Spring Collection' performances at London Hammersmith Palais (26) and Blackpool Empress Ballroom (27). Support on these two dates comes from Twisted Nerve boss Andy Votel and Hacienda legend Dave Haslam as DJ's, as well as Happy Mondays bassist Paul Ryder's new band, Buffalo 66.
