BROWN AND WELLER - IT'S SPROG ROCK!

Both former Stone Rose singer [a]Ian Brown[/a] and former Jam singer Paul Weller say 'hello, baby'...

Ian Brown and Paul Weller are the latest musicians to become new fathers, nme.com can exclusively reveal.

Ian Brown became a dad after his new wife Fabiola gave birth to his third child on Sunday (March 26).

A spokesperson for Ian Brown told nme.com that the birth had taken place without any problems over the weekend, and both mother and child were doing well. The spokesperson added that Ian was now spending private time at home with his family.

Sources close to Ian have revealed to nme.com that Brown's new child is a boy, and that it was born in London, as opposed to his native town on Manchester.

nme.com can also reveal that Paul Weller became a father again last weekend. Weller's fourth child was born on March 18 in London and was a girl. Weller, like Brown, is currently with his new family.

Brown and Weller are just the latest musicians to become parents in recent months. Richard Ashcroft had his first child, Sonny, last Friday (March 24), while Noel and Liam Gallagher have also both become fathers recently.

As previously announced on nme.com, Ian Brown releases a new single, 'Golden Gaze' on May 8 through Polydor, while Paul Weller's new album 'Heliocentric' is released on April 10 through Independiente.
