Ian Brown was released from jail this morning pending an appeal against his four-month prison sentence. Brown was jailed on Friday (October 24) for using threatening behaviour with intent to cause harassment, harm or distress against an air stewardess on a flight earlier this year.

The singer was jailed for four months for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.

Brown is on bail until Monday, when he will appear back at the Manchester Crown Court to appeal. A Polydor spokesperson said that at the moment there was no indication whether or not the tour planned for November will still go ahead.

Other sources seemed to indicate the tour would be rescheduled until next year, with all tickets valid.
