ICE-T is to host the final of the DMC WORLD DJ CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Heats have been taking place across the world over the last few months, and the UK final of the event takes place this evening (July 20) at the London Shepherd's Bush Empire.

The overall final, which takes place at San Francisco's Club Townsend on August 24, will be hosted by the legendary rapper.

In addition to prizes, the winner is guaranteed good publicity. Previous US winners include Beastie Boys DJ Mixmaster Mike, Cash Money and sometime Beck turntablist DJ Swamp.
