Band get back to work after hiatus

Idlewild announce UK tour

Idlewild have confirmed a UK tour for this winter.

The band have been on hiatus while frontman Roddy Woomble recorded and toured his solo album 'My Secret Is My Silence'. However, they are now getting ready hit the road again.

They play:

Dundee Fat Sams (November 28)
Sheffield The Plug (29)
Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms (30)
Bristol Fleece (December 1)
Manchester University Academy 3 (2)
London Scala (4)

As previously reported, the band have been writing new material but there is currently no confirmed plans for its release.
