IDLEWILD SCRATCH GIG FOR TV SHOW

Idlewild have been forced to postpone their performance at BRISTOL UNIVERSITY tomorrow night (April 4), so they can record the LATER WITH JOOLS HOLLAND TV show.

The band have rearranged the gig for May 6, and refunds are available for those who cannot make the new date. Instead, the band will now record the 100th 'Later With...' show for BBC2, which also features performances from Moloko and Paul Weller.

A spokesperson for Idlewild told nme.com that the band were very disappointed not to be able to play in Bristol, and that any original ticketholders will receive a free badge set when their ticket stub is handed over to the merchandise stall at the rearranged date.

Idlewild continue their UK tour on Wednesday night (April 5) at Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall, before visiting Northampton Roadmenders (6), Brighton Concorde 2 (11) and London Forum (12). Their new album, '100 Broken Windows', is released on April 10 through Food Records/Parlophone.
