200 lucky devotees will be in the promo for [b]'Roseability'[/b]...

Idlewild are to film the video for their new single, 'ROSEABILITY' at a low-key LONDON gig on Friday (August 18), with 200 fans taking part as extras.

The single is released on October 16 to coincide with a UK headlining tour, which will be followed by a string of dates supporting Placebo. The band advertised for extras for the video through their official website, www.idlewild.co.uk. As well as filming 'Roseability' they are also expected to play two or three new tracks. They already debuted one new song with the working title 'Mystery At Sea' when they played an instore gig at Virgin Megastore in London in June.

The band have also sold-out their gig as part of the T On The Fringe at Edinburgh Liquid Rooms on August 24. They also play the Carling Weekend Festival at Reading on Saturday, August 26 and Leeds the following day.
