Iggy Pop truck found empty

The stolen truck that contained Iggy Pop’s equipment has been recovered in Canada, but all the equipment is missing.

Montreal police found the truck yesterday afternoon, and reported that practically everything had been taken from the vehicle, apart from a few mike stands.

The truck contained over $20,000 worth of equipment, much of which is marked with serial numbers, which could make it harder to sell.

Amplifiers, drum kits, and sentimental guitars were among the pieces stolen, but the band did not let the theft hinder their tour and instead borrowed replacement instruments for their show tonight in Toronto.

Police are checking the truck for fingerprints and seeking possible witnesses in the theft.
