Ariana Grande's 'Problem' featuring Iggy Azalea has made history as the first UK Number One in the Official Singles Chart based on sales as well as streaming data.

As of this week, the Official Singles Chart now includes data from streaming services such as Spotify, Deezer, Napster, O2 Tracks, Xbox Music, Sony's Music Unlimited as well as physical and digital sales, with 100 streams equivalent to one single purchase. 'Problem' had a combined 'chart sales' figure of 113,000, which was made up of 106,000 sales and a streaming contribution of 6%, which came from 712,000 audio streams.

"Congratulations to Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea for claiming this landmark Number One. This is a big week for the Official Singles Chart - and we are delighted that it is such a big week for them too," commented Martin Talbot, chief executive of the Official Charts Company. Streaming data's contribution to the week's Top 40 singles came in at slightly more than 20%.

'Problem' pushed former Number One, Ella Henderson's 'Ghost', into the Number Two position - the track was streamed over a million times in the past week. George Ezra's 'Budapest' is at Number Three and Ed Sheeran's 'Sing' at Number Four.

Sheeran is also still topping the Official Albums Chart with 'x', which last week became 2014's fastest selling album. It sold 182,000 copies in its first week, and shifted 93,000 in its second. New entries in the Top 10 include 5 Seconds of Summer's self-titled debut at Number Two and George Ezra's debut 'Wanted on Voyage' at Number Three. David Gray's 10th album 'Mutineers' is at Number 10.
