CAUGHT COLT!

IKARA COLT have fallen foul over chart regulations banning free gifts.
The group's debut album, ‘Chat & Business’, released by Fantastic Plastic last Monday (7 March), will be excluded from the charts by compilers CIN.

The CD’s inner sleeve features 24 self-adhesive photographs which match up with the front and gatefold sleeve. A spokesman for the band said: "We are aware of CIN's rules, but these stickers are part of the artwork, not an extra, or free gift. They're not advertised on the album or adverts and I think we're being treated a bit harshly."

The band, who enjoyed their first Top 75 chart success last month with the single ‘Rudd’, are currently on tour in the UK with The Parkinsons and The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster.
