IKARA COLT have announced details of a new album and short UK tour.

The band, who have just finished recording the follow up to 2002’s ’Chat And Business’, will play five dates in the UK starting at the end of this month.

The currently untitled album, which was recorded in London, was produced by At The Drive-In /Mars Volta) producer Alex Newport.

A limited edition 7" single will be available at the band's forthcoming shows. The white vinyl contains the live tracks ‘I’m With Stupid’ and ’At The Lodge’.

The gigs will also give fans the first opportunity to see new bassist Tracy Bellaries, who joined the band in the summer.

The band will play the following dates:

Tunbridge Wells Forum (28)
Colchester Soundhouse (29)
Northampton Soundhaus (December 1)
London ICA (2)
