Insane Clown Posse's yearly Gathering of the Juggalos festival reportedly owes $300,000 (£187,430) to vendors.

Following the 14th annual event, which took place at Cave-in-Rock, Illinois last month, a number of contractors received cheques which subsequently bounced. The Southern writes that Event-Tex, who supplied power for the event, received a cheque for $54,000 (£33,737) which has not cleared. "In conversation with many of the other vendors who were contracted for the event, it has been learned that none of them have been paid," says company owner, Patrick Gail. "I'm on the verge of losing a lot of stuff," added Allen Heaton of Shortline Amusements, who are owed $40,000 (£24,991).

Psychopathic Records, who run the event, have since issued a statement to AP, which reads: "Putting on a five-day music festival this ambitious is a very time consuming and expensive process. Unfortunately, in our attempt to provide the best possible event for our fans, expenses exceeded estimates and expectations, which we had not previously planned for. The company putting on the event, Juggalo Gathering Inc, has no intention of turning its back on these financial obligations and is in the process of preparing a plan to take care of all vendors. We thank all of our vendors for their understanding."

Meanwhile, Insane Clown Posse are currently being sued by their former publicist and attorney, who claims she was sexually harassed and asked to "act unethically [and] illegally" while working for the controversial rap duo. Andrea Pellegrini claims she was called a "bitch", given a "large sex toy" after breaking up with her boyfriend and asked to obtain illegal automatic weapons for a photoshoot while working for the pair's Psychopathic Records imprint.

Late last year, Insane Clown Posse announced they would be launching legal action against the FBI over the bureau's classification of their fans - termed 'Juggalos' - as a gang. A website, Juggalos Fight Back, was set up by lawyers asking fans to report "negative consequences" they've experienced at the hands of "law enforcement, border patrol, airline security, or other local, state, or federal governmental agency or employee".
