Interpol bassist to star in movie?

Interpol bassist Carlos Dengler is set pursue a career in acting, according to reports.

Dengler is apparently playing a drug dealer in a forthcoming movie, which has already shot some scenes in Chicago.

The shoot has a working title of 'My Friends Told Me About You', and according to Pitchfork, Dengler is also producing.

This is just another aspect of Dengler’s movie-prowess. The star's resume also includes film scores for 'The Devil Wears Prada' and 'Ice Age 2’.

Meanwhile, Interpol continue their trek to support new album 'Our Love To Admire'. The dates are:
