Interpol battling Phil Collins, Linkin Park, The Script in UK Albums Chart

Plus Robert Plant's new effort looks set to chart highly too

Interpol's new self-titled album is currently battling other new releases by the likes of Phil Collins, Robert Plant, Linkin Park and The Script to top the UK Albums Chart this Sunday (September 19).

According to midweek figures, 'Interpol' is currently at Number Eight in the chart, with the other acts mentioned above all making the Top Five. Grinderman's 'Grinderman 2' is currently at Number Nine in the midweek charts.

In the UK Singles Chart, Alexandra Burke Feat Laza Morgan looks set to retain the top spot in the chart with 'Start Without You'.
