Interpol are set to headline this year's NME Awards Tour with Austin, Texas.

Temples, Royal Blood and Circa Waves will also be taking part in the tour, which takes place from March 18-27. Ticket presale begins at 9am via NME.COM/tickets on January 22 and tickets go on general sale at 9am on January 24. Tickets include a 50p donation to Teenage Cancer Trust. The tour kicks off at Glasgow O2 Academy on March 18 and ends at London O2 Academy Brixton on March 27. Scroll down for full dates.

Interpol will be debuting new material on the tour, as well as playing classic tracks. Meanwhile, Temples act as main support, playing songs from their debut album 'Sun Structures', which is due for release February 1. Royal Blood join the tour ahead of their Arctic Monkeys support slot this summer and the show will open with a set from NME Radar favourites, Liverpool quartet Circa Waves.

Of the tour, NME editor, Mike Williams, says: "Here at NME we are always championing the best new talent, so securing three of Britain's most in demand breakthrough bands to kick off proceedings for the tour is totally exciting. Backed up with the world-beating return of Interpol – one of the most important bands to come out of New York ever – is also a massive coup for us". Previous NME Awards Tours have seen sets from Arctic Monkeys, The Killers and Florence + The Machine.

The NME Awards Tour 2014 with Austin, Texas concludes two months of awe inspiring music events from the 2014 NME Awards season, including the NME Awards Shows which kick off on February 3 running up until February 25 at venues across London and the NME Awards 2014 night on February 26 at London's O2 Academy Brixton.
